First off we are loving this fantastic weather!! We have been walking back and forth(8 times a day but who's counting ;), the kids have been sleeping very well at night, although we have had to have nightly baths as a result of all the outdoor playing that has been had :)
Easter was wonderful, the kids were awake wanting to have the egg hunt early, they were so excited! Then we went to my mom and dads and the kids had another egg hunt there with their two cousins. All my sisters were there so it was nice to get caught up. Monday Shane went back to work and the kids and myself went over to a friends house were we had yet another egg hunt with some of the neighbours. It was a fun day we all sat around and chatted while the kids played together...although I think Rylan is still having nightmares about the girls chasing him trying to put makeup on him..lol The girls came around and told us(me) that Rylan had hit and punched them so I went to have a talk with him,
"Rylan, why are you hitting and punching?" "but mom I was just using some karate moves", "Rylan you know you can't use karate to hurt your friends!", "but mom, they were trying to put make-up on me!!!"
His face had such a horrified look on it...lol
We finished the afternoon off with some karaoke numbers...............hilarious!!!!
I think all of my children are on growth spurts, I feel as thought they are constantly asking for food. Rylan is after getting taller, I even think my little Jax man is filling out :)
Jaden has decided that she would like to participate in the talent show at school, at first she was hoping to sing with her friends, but she is now happy with her decision to dance. I was bragging to Amanda and CIndy the other day that Jaden got her "report cards" from dance, and her teacher put a comment on her tap class report that she should consider doing a solo next year. I doubt this will happen as the cost is too much, but it was great that her teacher has put that out there. Jaden takes ballet, tap and jazz, all are two year programs but Jadens teacher has said she would like Jaden to move ahead a year in all her classes as she has done so well this year...ok that is my proud momma brag!!
OK I am off to bed, I am hoping that the rain stays away tomorrow as Sherry is coming over to help me plant my front flower bed...I am clueless when it come to that stuff. Nicholas is coming in the afternoon and I am working tomorrow night.
