In the morning we always have the radio going, usually Q97.5 and today they have started their radioathon for sick kids hospital. It is just after 9am and I have already been in tears more than once! The stories that they tell, parents telling their stories, it is heartbreaking!! One mom was on there and her son had just passed away two weeks ago, I just can't begin to imagine!!!
So as my son is whining about wanting another drink I am listening to a mom telling how she just wants one more chance with her daughter who is very sick.....and I turn and hug the whining son when normally I would tell him to stop his whining....for once I am so thankful for a whining child!! Strange to me how through somebody elses sadness I am reminded of what is truly important.....OK I am off to hug my babies....again :)
