**UPDATE**

So Jaden did not wear the hat to school that day, but when she got to school one of the "friends" asked her where her hat was and Jade told her that her feelings were hurt because she was making fun of her! the girl apologized and made some excuse. This was the girl that also had the same hat, turns out someone bought her the hat, but she had not seen the idea behind it, so Jaden brought her in a sheet with all the possible ways to wear the hat. Jaden did wear the hat to school the following day, I was happy with the way she ended up handling the whole thing, I did not expect her to talk to her friend about it.......then we had the long drawn out conversation about what/who a friend really is.....
