Drama on Halloween morning...

Rylan had an appointment with his dentist this morning at 8:30am, they wanted to put in his spacer and just make sure everything was healing well after the surgery. The kids had to get up earlier than they are used to, the plan was to drop Jaden and Jackson off to Jacquie's and she would walk them to school with her kids. All was going well until about 7:15am, I was in the laundry room when I heard a blood curdling scream coming from upstairs, I flew up the stairs and Jaden is screaming, crying, basically in hysterics she had run into the corner of the kitchen wall ...nose first!! there was blood everywhere! For those of you that know Jaden well, you know that she is such a drama queen (not sure where she gets that from...ahem...) so throw some blood in there and she can go for hours! So I grab a cold wet cloth trying to assess the damage, her nose was clearly swollen but did not look broken, she let me clean her up, change her shirt etc gave her a good dose of Motrin and still she cried. I did feel bad for her, but of course could not stop myself from the doing the whole mommy speech, "that is why I tell you no running in the house", she then tells me ,but I was coming to tell on Rylan which of course leads way to the whole "you should not tell tales on your brother" speech. What I have not told you is why she was coming to tell on her brother, he was chasing her around half naked which of course just freaked Jaden right out.......I can't even describe how he was dressed, why do boys think it is so funny to run around half naked?? of course that got the mommy speech on running around with only your pj top tied around your waist is not ok!!?? Got everyone in the car by 8am (Jaden still crying) dropped Jax off to Jacquie and Jaden to Grammy. Rylan did great at the dentist, they did not end up putting his spacer in as it was not ready yet, so we are back there again next Wednesday for that. I had called the school to say that Jaden would not be in for the morning, however she was miracously cured by Grammy giving her a bag of frozen peas to put on her nose, so I picked her up and dropped her off at school. Is it too early for a glass of wine????;)
