Wed....

Nothing too exciting going on in the Rand houshold. We had a very nice relaxing weekend, with the weather being crappy we basically just hung out which was very nice for a change :) Jaden had a great time at the talent show last week and was very happy to tie with her friends:) We went out to dinner at Jack Astor's or as the kids call it, the Donkey place! Then we took Jaden and got her a skip it, she has been sking for one for a long time, so because of her participation in the Lollipop festival and the talent show we decided that she deserved one! Saturday was soccer in the morning and then Jade danced from 2-6pm, while she was dancing we cleaned the house....fun stuff (can you see me rolling my eyes!!) After dinner on Saturday I grabbed a bottle of wine and took the kids over to Sherry's house while Shane stayed home and slept as he was working at the bar. The kids played and Sherry and I drank some wine and chatted, we walked home at about 9:40pm.

Sunday we decided to take the kids to the movies, we went and saw Over The Hedge, the kids liked it, it had some funny moments but I don't plan on buying the DVD. After the movie we headed home and that is where we stayed for the rest of the day, actually we did not leave the house again until about 5:45pm on Monday to take Jaden to her soccer practise. It was a family weekend, and it was so nice not to be rushing around everywhere.


The next two weekend will not be so relaxing though....lol Friday Jade has dress rehearsal then recitals at 1pm and 7pm both Saturday and Sunday, I am volunteering at all of them except the Saturday evening shows, as that is when Shane and I will go and watch her dance:) I am looking forward to seeing her dances, I have seen her practice and they look great. I am sure she will be one tired little girl on Monday.....


Nicholas is coming today and Jaden has soccer tonight. I guess I should get my butt off this chair and get some housework done. Hmmm...how I would love to win the lottery and have someone come and do all this work for me....I guess it might help if I actually played the lottery though...oh well, a girl can dream........ ;)
