Jaden has been working so hard to get the splits and last week she got them, she is not all the way down yet but it is definite progress, she is so proud of herself! Now she just has to get them in the other directions.
Sunday night was the dress rehearsal, it was a long day! We had practices starting at 2:15 and were out of the studio by 4pm. We then went to Nadine's and had pizza and got the girls ready there. We got to Carling Heights for about 6pm and were so happy to see Cindy and Kyla there:) We got Jade into her costume and went out to watch the other dances. Shane, the boys and my mom were also there. I am happy to say they did fantastic!! There was one mishap with the ponytails in the tap routine, Jaden and her partner Emma were turning together when their curls got entangled but they finally got themselves free and got right back into the routine :) I was so relieved..lol It was all over by about 9:30pm but Jaden did not get to bed until 10:45pm as I had to bathe her to get all the "stuff" out of her hair and get all the make-up off her face, no easy task! She danced last night and she is done now until March 18th. We got the schedule for our first competition, she dances April 1st in Waterloo, so she has a few more practices to get ready for competition.
