Melting In Vegas,,,,,

It is freaking hot here!!lol We had a great time at the wedding yesterday! Ceremony was in Caesars Palace, beautiful and thankfully not very long as it was very hot. After ceremony we went up to their suite for a lunch reception, kids were great they took a little while to warm up,but soon they were jumping around, especially with Kelly encouraging them to eat the bowl of choclate shavings!!! At 5pm we had a "party bus" take us to the Hilton for the night of Star Trek. The night started with some rides which I did not get to finish as Jaden was scared so I had to take her off, the boys went on but Ry did not eat or drink for the rest of the night...lol Jax thought it was great to be in "outer space"! Dinner was a lot of fun, and the food was great. Jaden ordered a cool drink and her face will tell how excited she was. Jackson split a dessert with Lawra, a choclate sundae, you should have seen this thing, every topping you could think of and he ate SO much of it. Jade split Banana Wontons with Elexis and loved it, Ry had nothing!lol It was a late night, but definitely a wedding we will remember ! The kids had a great time getting to know Tara, Gilles(not sure of the spelling??), Lawra and Elexis, they were all over them and we hope to get together with them again at christmas. We had to say goodbye to Tara and Gilles as they were flying home this morning to see their little man!

This morning we met up with Lawra, Elexis, Gary and Kelly at FAO S. toy store, kids got to pick out something, they each picked a stuffed animal that they are in love with. We walked over to Treasure Island to pick up our tickets for Cirque tomorrow night:) Gary and Kelly were taking the girls to see it today before they left. We are going to meet up with Gary and Kelly for breakfast on Tuesday before they fly home. We grabbed a cab back to Excalibur and went to the pool for a while, Jackson loved that he could go down the slide there!! We hung out in the room for a while and relaxed until about 6pm then headed out to the strip.......got home at about midnight,,,,lol we walked the whole time, everyones feet were aching!! Jaden does not think she will ever be able to walk again!! Let me tell you that girl loves to shop, she loves taking her money from her wallet and paying the cashier! she bought a few things tonight and then came back and counted how much she had left and is trying to plan when she can go shopping again! "mom, I just love shopping in Vegas!!"
