Saucey....

My mom's word for this is cheeky, but it describes Rylan right now. He is being rude, and is developing a temper. Most of the time he is my sweet little man, but there are times where I am just shocked at this behaviour! I am noticing that it is worse after consuming sugar, but it is awful, and I refuse to put up with it. He is spending a lot of time in his room, allows time for both of us to cool down. I just don't know what to do, I am trying to reinforce the "talking it out" rule....he gets mad, and I need to help him to be aware of his anger. I have told him it is ok to be frustrated but that he needs to find ways to talk about it or to go to a quiet place and cool down and then talk about it. I act immediately when he is being rude and disrespectful, so I think this will help deal with it...so he knows it is not ok and that mom and dad will deal with his behaviour right away. I am open to suggestions on how to deal with this behaviour.........I will keep you updated!!
