Not one of my finer moments..

I am definitely not winning any mommy of the year awards today! Everything was running smoothly this morning until I went to start the van to warm it up....I could not get the key into the lock! I ran back inside, amazingly found the lock deicer and got the driver side unolcked. I was not able to get the other doors to open so the kids had to climb in my side to get to their seats. I was trying to climb back to get everyone into their seatbelts and Jaden started fussing and whining about her mitten not fitting properly I told her to take a minute and actually try to solve the problem herself...it went downhill from there. She started huffing and sighing and I yelled..loudly! I got the mit straightened out and got it back to her and I felt terrible! Yes she was driving me crazy, but why on earth did I react like that? When she got home for lunch I sat her down and apologized for yelling so loudly and explained that her whining has got to stop. So, I seem to be lacking patience today but thankfully I am (now)aware of that and I am trying to turn a deaf ear to the bickering and whines. I am sure the afternoon will be better:)
